Archives of Love
Spanning from the mid-1950s to mid 2020s, Archives of Love shows intimate glimpses into the stories of the Cruz-Rodriguez and Brito families. From their roots in the Cibao to the fast paced East coast of the United States, the families have had to adapt to a new lifestyle, language, and way of being. Through curating this series of portraits from my family albums, I hope to highlight the beauty in their journeys and struggles to create a new life for themselves. I am eternally grateful to my grandparents, Altagracia Olivia, Natividad, Gerardo Antonio, and Antonio, whose sacrifices laid the foundation for future generations to thrive.
